I am trying so hard, working so hard, with grad school. Studying for GREs, writing statements or purpose, putting together a writing sample and resume that don't suck.

All I can think is I'm never getting in. I have no chance. A 3.4 GPA with what I'm SURE will be a below average GRE score does not a grad student make.

So, I have started something for my SOP. This isn’t complete, but I just wanted to know if you guys thought I was on the right track or not. I’m afraid I’m focusing too much on my English background, but it has heavily influenced the student I was in criminal justice. I also feel like this is sort of amateur-ish, or childish.
