Charlie dawg is tap-dancing around and growl-whining, I just spent a half an hour on the phone with tech support to make the stupid internet work, and I can't draw plus Charlie keeps pushing her snoot under my arm so I can't type. The end.

um, starting to realize that graphic novels are way funner and time consuming to make than actual short stories. plus prettier. Part of my plan of concentration (translation = senior thesis) is now going to making a graphic novel about communes. it will be a parable of the Utopia fallacy! wow ( Read more... )

Generally, unto the world of Portland, and mainly by that I mean Sierra, who has no email address but will possibly read this:

-I am not coming home for Thanksgiving because its ten million dollars to fly across the country.

-I AM coming home for Christmas, and will be available for whiskey dates as early as the 18th of December.

What I like about restaurants is they don't have time to like, string you along about jobs. They can't be all, "We'll call you next Thursday, then invite you in for a second round of questioning, only to reveal that we can't hire anyone without a PhD" style.
