This wasn't what I thought I was going to write about but by the time I finished- 1. I liked what I said, 2. I couldn't remember what I was going to say and 3. I understood writers better who say that they are sometimes surprised by the direction of their own characters/story or say that they are discovering the plot along with the characters

I see you use the same method of dealing with the unwanted that I do. Procrastination even bleeds over into aspects of my life I do look forward and enjoy. Like I meant to post this comment yesterday but well, I put it off. ;)

Side note: isn't it interesting how people you enjoyed in college but didn't really hang out with on an especially consistent basis are the ones you find you really enjoy after college?
