Poll Modern Times

My body was finally able to override my mind and I fell asleep around midnight. I was also able to eat a very nice dinner with one of the greatest friends ever. I just keep waiting... Pablo's mother and sister-in-law may come and stay with us for a while until things settle down and/or are finalized. ::sigh::

I can get through this.

Yesterday Pablo came to visit me on my lunch break. That made me happy.

I am happy that my last Spanish class was today. I don't know if I passed but I have hope...

Yesterday: My Spanish teacher made me HAPPY...and I now hopefully have improved my grade.

Today: I was not still tired when I woke up this morning and it's the last class of ENG 341 (which makes me happy and sad.)

I read a horrible news article today. I know there has to be something I can do but I don't know what and that hurts me. I want to help people so badly...and have no means and/or no clue. ::sigh ( Read more... )

Our air conditioner broke a couple of nights ago but it wasn't so bad because one of those days was rainy and cool. It was 90 degrees today. We have all of the fans running full blast and it's over 82 degrees inside the house. (It had been up to 87.) After a round of EXTREME hokey pokey with Elmo... we took a (surprisingly) quick (2hr) trip to the ER. Adrian has inherited my coordination (or lack therof) and tripped while running around with Elmo. He happened to land head first on our hardwood floor.
