It has been a good day. I got all my cleaning chores at work done (not at home yet though),Hit a garage sale on way to work and got stuff for decorating our work windows at a later date. Not much going on here. Had Brennan 2 weekends in a row and I have been busy in between. Forced myself to get out in the garden last night after work. Had to get it dug up and get some manure in. Brennan and I ran around and did errands, etc on Sat. morning and then Sat. afternoon met up with Dittrich and Bossfan and we all went to a Twins game. Had alot of fun. I am alive this morning. Spent all of yesterday puking etc. and lots of sleeping. I also slept long hours last night. No headache this morning and no puking etc. thus far. been sick all day. coming out in both directions. Started at the local cafe real early this a.m. Only able to get one spoonful of oatmeal eaten when it started.Very embarrassing, Apologized to waitress and headed down hill to work and to really clean myself up. today is election day for village and county positions. I am glad. In the past several days I have been swamped with phones calls "reminding me" to vote and who to vote for. I just love running to get the phone for recorded messages etc. At least now they will stop interupting me ( Read more... )

my car is getting much needed repairs today. I have known since Xmas what car needed but it had to wait. Yesterday I got the estimate and today they are finishing up the work. Could probably have had a good down payment on a different car with this but repairs are the normal wear and tear ones and it was decided that the car is worth it. (I really ( Read more... )

I got to be a 5th grade chaperone today for a trip to Orchestra Hall. Someone canceled out yesterday and Brennan volunteered me. the Hey, I bet if you called my grandma D. she would like to if she can. A quick call to my co-worker and I had the day off.
