when the door closed, i heard an extra clicky sound so i turned around to check what happened. it turns out, somehow, the handle and the lock part or whatever you call the part that sticks into the hole on the wall got disconnected or something. i could turn the handle but the lock part wasn't moving...it's complicated and i have no words to describe it. after several minutes of turning the knob and pounding really, really hard on the door, i heard another click and i got out. it's better not thinking too hard about it. i swear, it's for your own health.
