I'm working hard on being comfortable in my own skin here. I feel almost out of place now that I'm back in MaFo. I dunno, its just wierd, and a lot of the people that I loved to hang out with are gone, and the new fousters are sort of dicks. I realized today that oil/gas/all that stuff is what is wrong with America. I'd say that most of the corruption in Washington right now is caused by big oil companies, and if we want to heal America, we have to kick them out of here. Our generation has a lot of work to do...

so this trip changed my life. I finally saw something that people have been telling me my whole life I need to do, and now I know it's not only possible, but that I can and will do it. so I went fishing today on lake Higgins (I think) north of g-boro. its a small lake, only .5 miles long, and was perfect for canoeing. I had a blast! Even though I only caught one fish, and I scratched the hell out of my roof. So hooray for getting outside and wasting a tank of gas.
