AU Event

As you may have read in Raph's journal, Mika is going to be a human teenager for this event. He's a little street thug fifteen year old and the leader of a street gang of older teens. Backstory is up in Raph's journal. Feel free to ask questions here, I'll do a proper write-up later, so check back for edits if you want

[Goes to fetch them drinks -- comes back with rum and coke and gin and tonic, setting both tumblers down on the table before sliding into the other side of the booth]

Ah, well, it sounds as though you've had more luck than I. Most everyone I've spoken to has been in my same situation.

The ones from around here aren't very helpful. They just stare at you and say nothing and it's really fucking rude. You really have to keep at it to get answers.

Doesn't matter though. It's weird, but brother is here. Besides, it could be a stress free vacation if he'd let it be.

I imagine it's stressful for him, worrying how he's going to get the both of you home.

He shouldn't stress, I'll handle it. I'll get us home. I'm not eight years old, damnit.

No, but I still ain't twenty-one either. I seriously doubt anyone here cares though, so no worries.

Ah, as to that -- neither am I. But I draw the line at prepubescent children.

I should hope so! And if you can manage a company you should be able to drink.

Heh, you needn't tell me that. It's not terribly easy, being 19 and the head of a company. Clearly my age makes me unfit, to hear what some say where they think I can't hear them.

They're just jealous. People are weak and jealous creatures. If people are unhappy, they lash out at people who are happy because they can't handle others having what they want.

Indeed. And why should I have what they do not -- when they have spent so many years already not-having. Surely I can't deserve what I have, can't have worked for it.
