I can't remember the last time I posted to this journal. I started posting to MySpace, but that's just as irregular. Life gets busy and I shut down. Oh, and yeah, I have a new addiction (shopping in Second Life) which I am trying to quit... err reduce. So here's a post

Hey,

The going green thing- great that you're interested. I'd start by replacing your lightbulbs with energy efficient ones and switching all of your cleaning supplies to organic ones. Here's a good link:

Oh and of course the obvious stuff - turning off lights, not wasting water, biking instead of driving, eating organic vegetables, buying organic/hemp clothing, that kind of stuff. I'm also going to get a green burial...have already talked to Mom, Dad, Jess and EJ about it. Here it will be in writing :) (although I'm surely LJ is not a legal and binding document...hehe).

How funny. I have switched my lightbulbs when I first moved to AUstin. Also, I had already talked to my parents about a green burial five months or so ago and well I am contemplating getting that + a few other things tattooed onto me in a discrete place because my father does not agree with my wishes at all (also put on it hiv neg - which can be changed to a pos if necessary; dnr; organ donor)
