MTV and ROLLING STONE magazine announced today that they will team up on a new reality series following aspiring journalists as they compete for a one-year staff position with the magazine. For three months, cameras will document the moves of amateur journalists as they cover a wide array of writing assignments -- including artist and entertainment profiles, national affairs, politics and pop culture. While facing tight deadlines, each candidate will work with the magazine's top editors to hone their writing skills and score interviews with major musicians, actors and politicians. Production on the series begins this summer, and the show is slated to premiere later this year. Casting begins tomorrow. The deadline for applications is April 7th.
