Anthro coincidences and Zap Mama

Camp Ten Trees.... There is a camp Ten Oaks in Quebec that is for children of GLBTQ families and campers who identify as GLBTQ as well.

Is this a coincidence that they are both similar in program and name?

I'm hoping to volunteer next summer if my schedule permits it, I think it's a wonderful thing to be involved with.

That's such a funny thing that the names are similar! I know that Camp Ten Trees is named that partially because of the statistic that 1 in 10 people in the US is queer. They say the 10th tree is the special one. I wonder if there's similar reasoning behind the name of the camp in Quebec.

There's also a queer camp in the states on the east coast. I think it's in New Jersey? If you wanted to travel a bit again, you could definitely check that out.

I haven't heard from you in awhile! I hope you are doing well!
