Nikira's in Santa Cruz - you should call her. She's sick, but I'm sure she'd love to see you!

Ooh, can't wait to try a new soup recipe!

Have you seen this website?

I stumbled across it via Vegan Yum-Yum (http://veganyumyum.com/), a blog/cookbook project by a fellow MoHo.

I hadn't seen these. I'm excited!

P.S. I'm on the last chapter of Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. I can't even tell you how much I wish I could do that. I woke up from a dream last night where I was canning. Canning! We have a little bit of ground to grow things on here and I can't wait to plant some things. Have to wait until mid-February, which, I know, is a lot sooner than most of the US. But sheesh! I think I'll run out of room sooner than I want.

The more I look at Veganyumyum, the more I am so excited and impressed. I wish I could do that. Or thought of that. She's really smart about how she writes recipes and how she makes them look. I'll stick to my recipe-following ways, but I would LOVE to bump into her at an alum event.
