Okay Joanna, I am officially jealous of your really good communication. I am not liking the inability to commit to something because I don't want to start a relationship while I am abroad but I am not one for open relationships and that is what I am in. I feel like that completely negates the whole trust aspect, but I also feel like I can't talk ( Read more... )

i just finished reading a novel that went pretty heavy on the whole "no day but today, no regrets, follow your heart and gut" message. and perhaps that's where my state of mind currently is, but if you have an opportunity to love and be loved (or even just like, no need to rush things), then why push it away? and even if you feel like you are the one "preventing" the relationship from happening, talk. talk until you're red in the face from trying to convey where you stand, even if you aren't exactly sure where that is ( ... )

It is very nice to hear from you. I'm sorry we did not get to talk more at the show, and I do appreciate your advice. The restaurant was called Hymie's. I haven't been there in a while actually, I've been missing some good Jewish American food :). It is located on Montgomery Avenue but I forget the town name. So I guess it is true that you moved to the area? Are you feeling better adjusted yet? I leave in early September to Italy.

Hymie's! Right, that makes sense. Well, I didn't pass Hymie's, but I have passed Montgomery Avenue and I might just venture back there some day. Yes yes, the rumors are true. Now that I have a full-time job and a permanent place to stay, I'm finding life a little less stressful. It's still a tough adjustment, particularly since I made about 4 major life changes in such a short period of time, but as with everything, I'm working my way through it. That's going to be pretty great to study abroard. You've become such a world traveler.

Are you uncomfortable with an open relationship in general, or right now, in this one, do you not feel comfortable? Because if it's the latter, it might very possible get better if you talk about it ( ... )
