Council Elections 2016 - Anyone Bothered?!

In around 6 days, I'll be working at a polling station, as the UK votes for Councillors; is anyone in any way arsed or is all the political focus on the EU vote in June?!

I'll be voting but I haven't really researched who to vote for (or really what we're voting for, I'm ashamed to say, I think my vote card said something about police or something. I'll have to look online).

In my area it's councillors and police and crime commissioner if that helps? :)

I think the Police and Crime Commissioners may only be in certain areas because it's not in my constituency!

I thought a "crime commissioner" was the bloke who commissioned crimes . . . apparently its not.

Haha :)! I'm sure if the Crime Commissioner could sanction murders of whomever he/she wanted, people would be a lot more interested in the vote!

I'm glad! We're only helping the bad politicians, if no one is bothered by the elections or politics in general.
