I slip in quietly, not fully in. Just- enough that I don't seem presumptious. She might not have time after all. "Uh...Hi...do you...do you have time? Can I make an appointment- like, now? I can go if-...I just..." I sigh to end my babbling flow and shut my mouth, curling my lips inwards and waiting calmly as possible for a response. See, Orli? I'm here. I said I'd come, didn't I. I don't know if you believed me when I said 'I'm going to see Liv tomorrow'. But here I am, see? For you. I want to get better for you. I look down at my own hands, playing with my fingers a little, nervous but I'm not sure why.
"Charlie, right?" He nods not looking up from his hands. "I have time, sure. Couple hours, actually..." He nods again, less surely. "What...How can I help? Do you need to talk about something?"
I'm not sure exactly what I'm seeing, except that it's balanced in some way I never felt about Orlando and Tobey being together. Orli never seemed to really 'see' Tobey, and Tobey always seemed, oh, 'left' in some way...But I see Charlie's sparkle captivates Orli, and Orli's steadfastness in face of danger may be what Charlie needs...Like me and Ang, if I put it to that...I miss her... Rambling thoughts for a rambling woman. "Boys, come sit with me, ok?" I know Orli was already at a table, but I like the booths better. More private if someone wants to chat, or if I want to draw, or write.
I smile.fingers interlacing and gently tug him towards the table as the lunclady walks with us- bringing another Tea for me, and a coffee for Liv as Charlie sips at my last cup staring at me with those alluring blue " come to bed" eyes.
I drop down into the booth as Liv sits opposite and my hand frees itself from his grip to be placed in an affectionate way on his leg, just above the knee, just resting there as i rest here- in this seat... "What's up?" I ask Liv- curiosity sparked again and i hold her eyes because I've missed her somehow. She's always been here- Ive gone to see her loads- but i miss her.
"Well, I needed coffee, and Charlie wanted to find you." The interplay between them is certainly warm and trusting. That's a gift, more than they know maybe. "Are you keeping well, lovely boy? I miss you...You don't visit like you did." Orli's brown eyes go sheepish and slip toward Charlie as his lips smile at me. Maybe Charlie's got a good idea after all...
"I'n sorry..." I whisper " I promise to come up more! Without an injury and all!" I lean over the table awkwardly to give her a hug and whisper in her ear " Thankyou for helping him...." Before moving to sit back down lying my head almost childlike on his shoulder as he kisses the top of it.
"Let me call the person I know down in town, see if we--you--can get some better stuff for the flight. May as well start healing right now, Charlie, if you plan to live you will want lungs that work."
Pick up the phone to call Meg, ask her to call around and call me back. Not my favorite way of doing things, but one does what works. I drink with Angie...probably shouldn't, would rather she didn't, but...better she's not alone. So better Charlie takes clean coke with him, starts now saving himself. Meg calls back, says 'In front of the bus station in an hour. Tan windbreaker, $200.00,' and sighs. "I know, Meg, I know. It's the only way for now." She sighs again, and hangs up.
The boys are back. Time to go. I tell Charlie who to look for, give him the boarding passes I've printed from the internet booking. Credit cards are a gift. "I'll wait with you for the airporter, ok? It's all paid, here's everything, passes, tickets. You have your passports? Good. C'mon, then...Stay, Sidi, guard the office..."
I hear Sidi Whimper and i stop and turn around a moment jogging back to him and crouching down ruffling his fur. "I know baby but I'll be home.I promise....I won't leave you behind again okay?" Hs jumps his paws up on to my knees and licks my cheek and i laugh and kiss the top of his head. "Be a good boy for Liv, I'll be back as soon as possible!" I kiss him again and then stand up and walk back to Charlie whos biting his lip smiling at me...
I'm smiling so much- and i don't know why, other than the man i love's going on this journey with me, Both spiritually and actually.
I hoist my bag up furhter over my shoulder, A shoulder bag stuffed with a few clothese- money and the essentials.

"We have..."
I wonder if I'll get through customs- twice no less. Christ, I'm kind of scared. But then- I made it on the way here and I've done it before, so...
I should be ok.
"Are you nervous? Should- is there anyone you want to say goodbye to in particular? Other than Sidi, of course..."
((ooc: sorry, Charlie has RUN from me...RUN)

I smile and look around the camp.
"Everyone else won't notice anyway. And if they care enough to notice they can find out from Liv and Scarlett....Right Liv?"
