Internet changes.

It seems like LJ is a thing of the past and that all the social networking websites can now be linked so that we're logged in to all of them at the same time.

I just don't seem to have the time to post more than once or twice a week - but I'm still here reading everyday.

I abhor Facebook and wish it could be wiped from the face of the internet. (and even more importantly that I did not have to maintain a presence there)

We use FaceBook a ton because we have family and friends all over the world. But it's so public -- even though I have settings so my information is generally hidden, I still feel super exposed. In my livejournal I've posted hundred of pictures because this was the simplest way to show my parents and extended family my travels and what I'm up to when I'm not able to be contacted by cell phone. And now I'm teaching private lessons half the time and parents want to be able to search for me and FIND me and stalk me a bit to make sure I am reputable and a decent person. So I'm trying to stay PG and nice all over the internet but it's really hard. I've also expanded and signed up for things I never expected I would... like Twitter. I never had an account until now. But it's supposed to be good for business and career relations. Everyone has to have an online presence to do decently career-wise now, it seems.
