so I started getting migraines with the beginning of menopause.  then it lightened up and I was only getting them occassionally  and for the last month it feels like one continuous migraine that just comes and goes in waves of severity ( Read more... )

So - my dad died in December.

his birthday is Feb 13.  And of course Valentines Day is the following day.

I'm struggling with trying to figure out how on earth I am going to get my mother through the next month.

I ordered some little plastic heart "hugs"  from etsy.  but ... it's not even a drop in the bucket of grief

or i could if I had any free time.

which I almost never do.

what I do have is a bunch of alcohol.  and I will be having some of that tonight!  (in a responsible quantity of course) 

so - in honour of march break I was supposed to have a wine and dance night tonight.

SEVERAL of the guests have cancelled.  I'm not sure who is still coming as they are NOT responding to messages.

I have a headache but I don't think I am sick.  I think I am just not getting enough sleep.

I'm feeling a little b*tchy tonight.

just a series of minor annoyances that really I'd probably be better off keeping to myself but why not get them out there and set them free in the universe.

It's F'ing HOT.  I'm tired of it being too hot out there.
