Beautifully written post. Couldn't agree more. I think. I wonder why he would be a boggart, though? They're supposed to show you your innermost fear. RA isn't scary. Although him coming on to me would probably make me mortified and want to run the other way!

Anyway, welcome to the RA fandom and happy FanstRA! :)

(snort) That's how you can tell I was busy thinking about Wet Porter. I completely lost my mind!! I edited it, so at least it's correct now. Kind of. The mental image still makes me snicker. :} Thanks for the heads-up and the note.

That was very interesting to read. Enjoyed your way of looking at things. These repeated, but various insights within the fandom are all small pieces of the puzzle that may help us in our effort to solve the great mystery that are we to ourselves and maybe the conundrum that is Richard Armitage. :-) Nice meeting you.

Welcome to the fandom, livenud. I really really liked your post. All of what you write is undeniably true. There are as many Richard Armitages in the world as there are Armitage fans. And you are pleading very eloquently and convincingly for continued privacy for Mr A. I think we will all respect that - in fact it is one of his most endearing and admirable characteristics. - I also loved what you wrote about the fandom and the role it takes up in the fans' lives. Yes. Concur. Through the shared passion for and interest in this talented man I have met so many equally talented women - it is enriching my life every day. FanstRA has given me a huge push - I have made new contacts; and that is the best thing for me about this Armitage love...
Thanks for writing this!
(Damn - only noticed after posting that I did so anonymously... This is Guylty...

In my case, I don't think mystery comes into the attraction although I do appreciate not reading about his private life. I know more about RA than I ever knew about any of my previous crushes because he is the only one I went looking for information on. I have learned about other actors in pursuing my RA addiction but most of the ones I like seem to keep out of the showbiz scene so I still don't know very much about them, certainly less than I know about RA.
