LOL: brilliant mental image with the boggart, and a very effective one to illustrate the whole point of your post! The boggart is probably none of those things in reality (in reality, it can never be truly known at all, perhaps disappearing when you look at it, a little like Dr. Who's Crying Angels?), but still Boggart Armitage has assumed all those roles in the past, lending them just enough reality to make a lasting impression. Great post!
