We went to Easton yesterday and I found a new orchid at Smith & Hawkin. I love that store. I am not the biggest fan of America Idol and I swore I wasn't gonna watch it this season but because of Adam, I am now watching it just to see him. He is amazing and not hard on the eyes either.

We were walking down in the short north last weekend and I saw this artist's work as we passed Sherrie Gallerie. I guess the sculptures are made of porcelain. I wonder if she sculpts them into something that is easier to work with and then makes a mold because porcelain is a bitch to sculpt with. I love these terrariums, they are so cool. Now I want to make a moss terrarium and make glass items to put on the moss. Maybe even try blowing some boro glass into oddly shaped terrariums. Can one have to many plants? I doubt it.http://paulahayes.com/terrariums/gallery.

Here is a pic of the "purple/violet" orchid. They can call it what they want but the color on the ebay auction isn't even close to this color. I'm second guessing myself again thinking I am the wrong one, why do I do this to myself? :( It is even darker purple in person. I couldn't really capture the color real well.

This is cool. You can record a video via your Iphone over edge or wifi and goes directly to your flixwagon page. It is like a mobile webcam. I plan to use it while I am making glass.
