A good Friday evening!

Yesterday was an eventful day.

I started morning with a message from our president, saying that Randy Pausch has died last night. Pretty sad, but well, it was a matter of time. I am just glad he managed to change so many people's lives and have a big effect on the world before leaving it. God bless him.

There is nothing like watching a sporting event during a summer's evening.

Try to take in a Steelers game too if you can or a Pitt game.

I'm glad to see your creative spirit so inspired and grateful to be inspired by your ever-improving posts here. My father is an artist, and he and his artist friends have always impressed me as the way I want to live my life, such that even into old age, nothing ever stops the creative flow. Whether it be painting, or music, or even writing (and why not all three!) to create is quite possibly one of the reasons we are here in this life. Not just like the song which says to love and be loved in return, but to create in response to all the stimuli we experience.

Now I am curious to think about all the songs, poems, paintings, or photographs that have been inspired by ... baseball. :)
(I find myself more entertained watching the crowd than the game sometimes)

I did watch the crowd as well, but my main goal was to learn the rules of the game. hmmm I exchanged several cute smiles with a naughty little kid who ran a lot in front of us, I politely told two guys not to block our view and received apologizes, and I told the guy behind me where I bought my dinner (chicken wings).

What it inspired? A "feeling". Of how much you can enjoy a fun lovely summer in Pittsburgh!

And it couldn't be more valuable to me, because I think a "life that you can enjoy most" is the biggest and most valuable piece of "art" you can ever create in your life. :)

Islamic Iran is making excessive use of the death penalty to spread fear among people mostly dissidents and activists. Although Iranian officials insist death penalty is an effective deterrent but in fact experience in past 29 years proved that death penalty is not an effective way to prevent crimes ( ... )
