hey friends - I know no one is still here - however,

I came back to say hi. Giving you some updates. Real life has been good. I finished my studies (MSc, PhD and then Postdoc), and got a job as a university faculty. It's fun. I have a ton of students. I lead things. I'm invited to give talks. I'm (a little) grown up!

Yesterday I finally received the check for my calligraphy! Yeah, well, a little bit late, but I got it none the less! And that's a money you want to have fun with! (honestly it wasn't all that much to begin with, but oh well). I'm thinking to buy a good watercolor set with it ( Read more... )

Yesterday was an eventful day.

I started morning with a message from our president, saying that Randy Pausch has died last night. Pretty sad, but well, it was a matter of time. I am just glad he managed to change so many people's lives and have a big effect on the world before leaving it. God bless him.
