What a disaster. Ridiculous, really. I can't believe I agreed to go in the first place. I had a bad feeling about it, and I should have trusted that. There are really much better ways to spend my time. Ugh.

What an awful way to set off the new term.

What? Oh, no, not at all. Goodness, sorry. I really should have spent this afternoon with you, instead; it would have been immensely more pleasant.

Oh, well thank you. That means a lot.

And if you need to talk I'll listen.

That's sweet; I appreciate it. I'm not sure how much I'd be able to say, but a change in company would be good. The start of classes tomorrow will also help, I think.

Don't worry, Ron, it has nothing to do with you. Besides, certainly you weren't happy about things, either?

Why Granger, I haven't the faintest idea what you're referring to.

Is this going to be one of those situations where I get an owl from McGonagall about you, Draco?

If so, I want details at least. She's got a nasty quill, she does.

I suppose I'll take your word for it, this time.

Did you want anything before I head out of town again?

I suppose not -- I'm sure that's not what you intended. It's not your fault at all.
