So, I observed my first surgery today: an anterior spinal fusion. It was one of the most violent things I have ever seen (in real life). Sawing through bone, burning away fat *kinda smells like burning hair BTW*, tearing away spinal discs, it was almost to cool/unsettling to be real. Yes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! makes me excited...so does Panic! At The Disco. But my longstanding favorite use of punctuation in a band name has to be this: ...and you will know us by the trail of dead. Ellipses are probably my favorite punctuation.

I'm really glad I have a favorite punctuation.

and its funny. I can handle blood, but the idea of sawing through bone makes me want to cry....cool though
