After much thought, I have decided that since there are several aspects of my life that are going in a new direction, I have also decided to make my journal do the same. Overall, it was a very productive morning. Steven crawled into the garage and rescued 6 boxes which we went through and whittled down to one box of keep stuff and one box of garage sale items. We are hoping to tackle a few more boxes this afternoon. My allergies are kicking in from all the dust, but I will take some allergy meds and keep going ( Read more... )

So after 39 days of no children or Steven, yesterday the silence was broken! The family made it home about 3 of so yesterday afternoon. Okay, this whole car thing is getting ridiculous. It has been at the shop for 9 days. I know what will happen, too. On Friday afternoon they will call me and tell me it is ready. When I woke up this morning, I knew it would be a great day. Got to get out of the house today with a friend. Took a little road trip. Isn't this pretty? We were right on the edge of a sharp cliff.
