In the debate of quality vs. quantity, I think quality is more important. Especially when you're talking about life.

We are almost ready to book our trip to Antigua! It's real! It's really going to happen! Awesome!

I made homemade macaroni and cheese last night for dinner. It was delicious. The best part about it is that it came from my dieter's cookbook. Oh yeah. It was "light". Excellente!

I got to see my Zachie yesterday. Wow! I love that kid. Wow! Was I tired after carrying him around all afternoon. He's Sumo Baby! I guess you figure that most kids his size are twice as old as him and can sit up on their own and are starting to crawl. Zach is still so young he doesn't have good control of his head. Thanks everyone for all your prayers and well wishes. My uncle is stable right now. They operated on him to remove the blood clot, but they still don't know where the bleeding was coming from. During the surgery to remove the blood clot, he had a stroke. They believe that it has damaged the speech center in the brain and may have caused paralysis ( Read more... )

I'm very worried today. My Uncle Ron is in the hospital. He has a bleeding aneurysm in his brain, and it is compounded by the fact that he has had some heart trouble and has been taking the blood thinner Coumadin for like a million years. I have been out of commission for the past four days. Felt fine Friday. Woke up Saturday with a really sore throat, then things just went downhill from there. So the little cat, Milo, had a bath yesterday. He's almost a year old so he's not really that little, but anyway...He stunk. I think he knows how to groom himself, but I rarely see him doing it.
