Thanks for coming to the party and making our birthdays great! I had such a good time on Saturday night and it was awesome to see everyone (even for a little while).

I have an official wedding day now. November 9, 2007 at 3:30 pm.

I'm so excited! I'll get to pick a cake flavor and choose flowers...I get to get a dress and hair accessories! Whew!

I hope to see everyone this Saturday at Nic and D's for the birthday party. We are going to have yummy food and a lot of fun. I mean, you only turn 30 once right?!

On a side note, we saw The Lion King on Saturday night. It was amazing. I almost cried like, 5 times. We also got to go to Shanghai Mama's. Yummy!

So, today at work, one of my client's (who is really unsteady anyway, and has a penchant for unassumingly hurting others with his own clumsiness) totally tripped and began to fall. So, last night was a Double Feature. I had one strange dream where, apparently I hadn't closed my profile on match.com and there was some guy emailing me saying "why didn't you tell me you were engaged?". I got to try on some wedding dresses on Monday. One was so full, it was totally Scarlet O'Hara. It could stand up on its own, weighed 50 pounds, and took three people to help me into. Crazy! And here it is. The afternoon slump. I think that all work days in this country should only be 5 or 6 hours long. I can't really tolerate any more than that.

On the upswing though, this weekend and next week should be pretty fun.
