We have heard back from the vet regarding the cost of amputating Milo's hing leg. The cost of the surgery is $600 (which was better than I expected); however, the vet wants a biopsy and a second opinion. This will push the cost over $1000. I heard some bad news today. My cat, Milo, has been walking with a limp for several days. So, E took him to the vet this morning. The vet examined Milo, then sedated him and took x-rays. The vet believes that Milo has cancer in his leg bone. It is essentially eating away at the bones of that leg. The vet suggested going to a specialist for cancer ( Read more... )
