1. "no milk after ten." in italy, there is a high percentage of people whose digestive systems cannot handle cow's milk in the same way others' can. gluten and lactose intolerances, as well as disorders such as celiac, are very common. drinking milk with espresso after ten in the morning is considered a faux pas - very poor form. cappuccino ( Read more... )

I'm from Canada and I don't know anyone who eats baked beans on a regular basis. Maybe once in a while camping, but that's about it.

weird. i was reading a breakfast blog based out of canada and there were photos of baked beans with nearly every meal. wish i still had the link!

Lighter roasted coffee also has more caffeine, something about the roasting process decreases the caffeine content. So that contributes to why espresso is less caffeinated than coffee.

this is true, too! i remember being shocked when i learned that especially. so the people who order the "mild" /breakfast blend/etc coffee at starbucks really ARENT pussies: they just love their caffeine.
