Finished 'A Moment of Silence' by Anna Dean, 'Belgrave Square' by Anne Perry, 'Except the Dying' by Maureen Jennings and 'Dawn of the Dreadfuls' by someone whos name entirely escapes me right now, but it is a prequel to 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' and quite excellent (and not a little poigniant too) Feel like I've missed one out but can't ( Read more... ) -

Off out for the day tomorrow. Oxford again, which you would think I would be sick of by now, but no. I do rather like the place. Very welcome week off work. Don't have a huge amount of plans, just going with the flow. Feel like I have actually earned the time off as well, being so busy of late. It's a nice feeling ( Read more... ) -

So, it had to happen sometime. Put on half a lb this week. Totally okay with that as I know that drinking vast quantities of vodka over the weekend wasn't a good plan! Also, with my cold, had a few moments of indulgence, so wasn't overly traumatized by the gain - am actually just surprised it wasn't more ( Read more... ) -

Have spent the past few days at home with a cold. Don't normally get knocked back by a cold, but this one seems to have done so. Was at work this morning but I gave up when I realised I couldn't concentrate on anything.
