Another month, another trip to The Globe. Pretty much love that place! This time to see 'Much Ado About Nothing', which I studied at school - and despite that, wasn't put off it at all, which is nothing short of a miracle. Booked tickets to go and see 'Henry IV part 1' and a play called 'Bedlam' at the Globe. Have become, as my brother put it, a total Shakespeare groupie haha! Don't know about that, but going to see 'MacBeth' has certainly reignited my love of his work (for serious, I think I was one of the only people who actually enjoyed doing Shakey at school ( Read more... )

Have lost another 4 and a half lbs this week, taking my total weight loss to 2 stone and a wee bit. Fairly amazed. Haven't been back home long. 'Macbeth' was amazing! The Globe was pretty damn amazing just one its own, but seeing a brilliantly performed play in it was even better. Lizzie seems to be settling in well. It's odd going out for walks with a dog again - and quite frankly the difference between her and Rodney is somewhat extreme! But she's definitely at home here now which is good.

Rather curiously, several cousins who I have had no contact with for the past four years (since my gran's funeral, which is when I would have last seen them) have suddenly sent me and many other members of my family friends requests on Facebook.
