I am sitting in my sister's apartment watching her go in and out of sleep from her pain medication and realizing how scared I've been for her in the last week and a half and am so happy that she is ok and going to be ok.  I didn't want to sit in the hospital waiting for her, but am glad that I did come up.   It's sad almost how we don't realize how ( Read more... )

     I am feeling discouraged lately about working at the jail.....It seems like ages ago when we were struggling to get even ten people to show up, and now, we have around 25 to 30 guys a night and only two of us to help all of them.....I feel  like I'm not really even helping anymore.  I had to kick one guy out of class tonight, and I felt so bad ( Read more... )
