Eleven thirty last night, this nurse comes in, wakes me up, to tell me that she will be my nurse for the night so if there is anything I need or want to let her know, like, if I have trouble sleeping or something like that.
Well, I wasn't having trouble sleeping until she woke me.

Didn't get a chance to write in here last night.  The day started with a long walk.  Only the personal trainer and I go on these walks as the others are too infirmed.  They walk around the carpark.  More exercises and stretches were followed by another talk from the Doctor.  This time it was on the responsible managements of drugs ( Read more... )

We got a walk in this morning before the rain started again.  Then we only did our stretches - the physio's assistant seemed a bit 'off' today and wasn't that interested in doing too much with us.  We were supposed to go to Mini Golf as our exercise but the complex was flooded.  Instead we went to the movies.  Those ladies who felt they couldn't ( Read more... )

It was exercise as usual first up.  We seem to be in a routine now.  At 8:30 every morning we go for a walk around the neighbourhood.  On our return, we do stretch and strengthening exercises.  At 10:30am we have morning tea which invariably is crackers, cheese and grapes ( Read more... )

The main doctor for the programme gave a talk for an hour and a half about pain.  At question time two ladies queried some things the physio had said and that started the whole problem off again.  It turns out the the physio and the psych were 'hiding' behind a partition wall to listen to everything that was being said in the class.  The physio ( Read more... )

Today was interesting.  Two of the ladies spat the dummy big time so the psychologist was called in to sort things out.  We then had a two hour group psych session and everyone calmed down.  The physio, who was the reason the women spat, made himself scarce for the rest of the day.   While we were waiting for the psych to turn up, we were given a ' ( Read more... )
