What was the best thing that happened today? Two things: that Vons sells caffeine-free Coke, and that I can fit a 12-can box in my bike crate.

Caffeine-free Coke is probably more useless than caffeine-free diet Coke because it has all the empty calories, but it tastes better with rum.

Yeah, my day sucked.

There is Spanish music being played for the whole neighborhood to hear right across the street, and I have to keep the windows open so that it doesn't roast in the house. Dan and I went to Mondeo's for lunch yesterday. They have ginormous wraps and world-famous ginger ale. That evening, Kristen's dad was in town and made us tacos for dinner. Yesterday I had church in the morning, and the highschool group had tons of stuff left over from their church garage sale the day before that they were going to box up and give to Goodwill. The stoplight at South and Higuera (as well as many others) doesn't recognize bikes, or even motercycles, so when making a left turn you either have to wait until another car comes up behind you, which can take several minutes even during the day, or make an illegal turn.

Just the most recent garbage bag on top of a trash can of a day.
