While I've never had ScrapBook break for me (and it sounds like you haven't either), it was quite broken for a lot of people. Part of the broken-ness stems from the fact that ScrapBook (from what I can tell from code dives and reading old posts) was developed as a separate system. In fact, at one point it was possible to use ScrapBook as an external image host, like PhotoBucket. It had its own website and everything, called PicPix ( ... )
