Hi Manpreet,

Do we have any updates on the Quick Tales contest? Its been a month and a half since the content submissions came in, and there's still no word on the Finalists, or the winners. There has been absolutely no communication from the organizing team (esp. Peter) about the contest and when we can expect the results.

A whole lot of people on the India Writing community were excited about the contest, but your poor handling of it is starting to leave a bitter taste in our mouths. Its a little hard to believe that it takes over a month to judge fiction entries, even if they numbered over a thousand.. so if the contests results are being delayed due to some other reason, we would appreciate being kept in the loop.

We apologize for the delay and all the anxiety its causing. One of our editors had taken ill, which led to some time-lapse after which one of our judges was unavailable.

As of now, they are going through some final checks. The short-list is already in place,and has been made public now here: http://quick-tales.livejournal.com for the people's poll to begin.
