Quick Tales - The Short List & The People's Choice Prize Poll
Finally, the first part of what y'all have been waiting for.

We now want you, the members of India Writing, to help decide the winner of one of the prizes: The People's Choice Prize.
The eligible stories are the ones that made it through Round One of the judging process.
The entries have all been posted in full to a new Journal, quick-tales. (The links you see below are to individual posts on that journal.) So, if you find your story on the list, congratulations, and now go get all your friends to vote for you!
Read as many stories as you like.
As you read, take a few seconds to rate each story on a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest. Feel free to use any criterion (or combination of criteria) you like. For example, the quality of the writing, how much the narrative gripped you, how intrinsic to the plot the theme was, or just how much you liked the story. You can also leave feedback for the authors - tell them what you liked, what you didn't, what could get better and how. That's what a writing community is all about, right?
(Naturally, this poll is open only to LJ members, so if you haven't done so yet, sign up! And, to you short-listed authors who are lining up your friends to vote for you, send them to the same page to sign up first. :) )
Once the poll closes - it will stay open for at least two weeks - LJ's nifty poll software will automatically calculate the winner, the story that you folks liked the most.
And then (ta-dah!) we will post the winners of this prize, along with the winners as chosen by our judges.
