This is a great idea, I can't wait to see it tweaked for more styles. Thanks!

I had actually asked for a feature like this in the official suggestions community, but it was rejected as being the same as a previously suggested idea for generic tags. Idiots.

The problem I see with this is that it requires many people to do consistent tagging to be useful and I can't see that being done if it's not officially integrated into the interface. Having commonly available tags easily selectable, especially your own most common ones (not just a tag cloud on a separate page), would also help.

I agree with just about all of this, including the sad state of tag support on LJ. I figured the only thing I could really do a bout it, though, is to make tags a hair more useful myself, and thus do my bit to encourage people to use them, and to nag their friends to do so.

This is all important - I think tags are the most underrated feature on livejournal. Having the ability to censor certain types of posts that the poster can define is unreal and really shouldn't be overlooked. Well done to you, and can't wait for the other layouts.

Not only is this a great idea, you picked a great name for the script. :)

I use a slightly modified Component, but I can wait.
