This sentence made me cry just a bit - not sure why.

He told her once that, even if he’d had sex infrequently over his life time, after a millennium, the number of sex acts added up, and he had an excellent memory. He was very good at this.

These sentences made me laugh!

Oh, this is realy lovely. It's quite a lot how I imagine them to be living their life. You've written it wonderfully and you're getting the characters spot on. I'm looking forward to more! I hope they travel together forever (of course they will; why shouldn't they?). Thanks for sharing it!
