It is so disheartening to take in the blatant disregard some have for separation of church and state in this country. Especially given the fact that before the 1970s so many Christians held this ethic to be intrinsic to not only American idealism, but also Christian perpetuity. I think I would like to try to pick up where I left off at 16. Develop real connections. Nonalcholic, drug-based ones. Not to say I'm leaving anyone behind....
