I normally choose to write my haiku like this, but it's award time... / ...gotta be formal. From here on, I'll use line breaks. Now... for the awards!

i earnestly intended to have a second "season," but i simply ran out of time. i know there was interest out there. if you or someone else would like to take it over, i would happily hand over the administrative reins.

There are some LJ haiku-related communities out there that would probably be the best source of interest. I had the feeling that the second season would have had a ton more participants, especially after it was clear that LJHI wasn't just a one-week srs-related gimmick. But I don't think LJ Idol is really going to be your best source for new contestants (although certainly there will be at least a few people there that might be interested, as before ( ... )
