   Hello all, and welcome to Season III! The Dark Room is a place just to discuss things with your fellow contestants, as one might chit chat in the red glow of a dark room of old (ah those were the days). There should be a few Dark Room entries every week to foster conversation

I for one have a new (to me) Canon D200 I barely know how to use (it's my first DSLR), so I'm looking forward to forcing myself to figure it out for the sake of this contest.

I myself, for anyone who doesn't know me, am a world traveler and beekeeper.

Yes I am both the moderator and a participant in this contest. That's because I created it because I wanted to compete in it. I didn't moderate last season though and didn't want to do this season but no one else volunteered so after a year I decide to do it myself again. I'd drop out if I get far along in it though, since it's highly suspect for a moderator to win their own contest d:

I have a few cameras, maybe it's a sickness. I don't regularly use them all since film processing gets expensive.

My regular kit includes:
Nikon D300s
Nikon D800

A variety of lenses, photo strobes, accessories and more.

I'll be graduating this September with a BFA in Photography, so given some time I can generally shoot almost anything.

At the moment I'm a little lost on the prompt, but I'll have an entry in before the weekend is out, since I'm going on vacation next week and would otherwise miss the deadline...

oh, yeah, it's from an actual Calvin and Hobbes. I made all my own icons from Calvin and Hobbes strips...
