I bought a car, time for an adventure
On August 2nd, I bought a car.
I didn’t really set out to buy a car, but I wasn’t entirely opposed to it. I had, after all, been looking at used car listings online for months, and daydreaming about getting something new to me, something different from what I had been driving for the past 5 years.

Back in March, I was at work when a hailstorm blew in. My car got pretty beat up. The initial estimate was pretty high, and while I tried to get it fixed quickly, the shop I tried to have do the work lied to me, treated me badly, and I took the car back without paying them anything ( Read more... ) -

On the 25th of March a hailstorm rolled through north Austin. Unfortunately for me, I was at work that night and my cr took some damage as a result of simply being parked in the work parking lot. Me and saving money
For the longest time I had absolutely no ability to save any money. I’m not talking about, “hey here’s a coupon for $1 off”, but more like, “damn, I’m running kind of short this month, I guess I’ll make the minimum payment on all of these credit cards and pull from what little I have in savings for groceries.”
