Next release of the client will support Atom.

Another Off-Topic Question mr_ducktape March 21 2005, 22:22:01 UTC
I just did a fresh re-install of my system, and in my new install of semagic, I'm confused by something. When I click on "what are my friends doing?" it redirects an already-opened browser page instead of opening up a new browser page, despite the fact that I do have "open browser in a new window" checked. For what it's worth, I'm using Firefox as my default browser on Windows XP; before I did a fresh install of my system & programs, semagic did indeed open browsers in new windows.

Err, nevermindthat. I just had to check the option in FF saying "Open links from other applications in: A new window".

Thanks!

Sorry for off-topic, but Semagic refuses to post my entries. Also, when it's been open for more than a few minutes, it refuses to load my friends. =/

I think that's the one I have, actually. I'll give it a try, though.

...I got a virus alert when I tried to download it.

But yeah. No status messages or anything, just stays in the loading state. It's not just a matter of me being impatient, either... it stays in the load state for hours and hours until I finally give up and just hit cancel.

dammit. maybe you should start making 'semagic lite' without all of this unnecessary crap?

Atom suport adds about 1% to size and potentially doubles users.

Atom is scrap, Google even finally admitted it was not the right thing to do.

that being said, if you could figure out a way to tie in to MySpace blog, and LJ at the same time (even simultaniously post) that would rock.

all my friends have moved to MySpace, but they don't have the archiving feature nor killer app (Semagic) so I LJ (sorta)
