The walk for hunger raised 3.2 million dollars last year. In order for the event to be counter productive the money spent on the calories burned would have to exceed the amount raised. That clearly wasn't the case. Unless you're arguing that if people never walked in the first place more food could have been donated. If you're so concerned about people's hunger, why don't you stop eating, pack up all the food you would have eaten, along with a few water bottles of hotdog flavored water, and die. But then that raises an important issue: who will take care of Dennis? Simple, your four hotdogs in a UPS box won't will do so little for hunger that the surviving people will be forced to eat him.
