2010 meme!
Since I'm sick and sneezing and have nothing better to do, here goes!
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Moved to Tokyo, found a new job without needing help or referrals, went to onsen (and LOVE LOVE LOVED it. I am an onsen and sento whore.), gave a speech in Japanese, joined a comedy group
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My big resolution was moving, and I did that. The ones for this year are starting capoeira, auditioning for TIP, and getting out of the house in general. I've had a lot of fun over the past few days just wandering around with andweewoo and jessumaru , and I forgot what I was told a long time ago. It still hurts.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A friend and a sorority sister, but no one really close.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully.
5. What countries did you visit?
I was in the US for the beginning of the year, then back to Japan.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More travel, heading outside once in a while, a stronger diet and exercise regiment.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 31-the day I moved from Yosano to Tokyo (and then had an awesome birthday with kurayamihimitsu !)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being able to realize my faults and own up to them. I'm not a great person, but I'm not the horrible creature I was led to believe for four years. But I can be better.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Making mountains out of molehills.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I'm sick right now! Just the general colds and so forth.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
MY NEW WINTER COAT. LUCKY BAG, ILU
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My friends did some pretty awesome things this year. <3 Especially Aaron, who passed the bar exam-within days of his best friend's death.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mostly politicians, the Duggars. Mine.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, bills, Tenipuri splurging!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Dream Live 7, moving to Tokyo
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a. happier or sadder? About the same
b. thinner or fatter? A bit thinner! Quite a bit, actually. :)
c. richer or poorer? Poorer. BUT IT IS A GOOD POOR.

Traveling and exploring

Wasting time
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Met andweewoo and jessumaru for Thai food, karaoke, and my first Kimeru live! I'm still convinced he's really a woodland elf.

Hm. I really don't know.
22. Did you fall in love in 2010?
This is a joke, right? Ha ha.

I didn't really watch TV, but House, Simpsons, and Tokyo Ghost Trip were always on my laptop.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope!

This is tough! Probably The Glass Palace.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Mika! His music is so happy.
28. What did you want and get?
My new job, and my kindle!
29. What did you want and not get?
Self esteem. Which is connected to my want of a boyfriend, since I won't get one until I can look at myself positively.

Didn't really watch any. :)
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 26. I moved to Tokyo, went with kurayamihimitsu and her friend to Odaiba to go bowling, and we had okonomiyaki and a huge chocolate dessert at Outback that we couldn't finish!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Better working conditions in Yosano.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Citify!
34. What kept you sane?
Oddly enough, Facebook.

Same as last year. Saaame as last year. :)
