I know I haven't posted in a LONG time, but I thought this was worthy. My best friend and sister from Ukraine, Tanya, is getting married on Sept. 22 and she wants me to be there. So Jessica and I went back to our old middle school today (Brown Barge) to play with the band for the Christmas show that they do every year. That was fun and terribly out of tune, but what else do you expect from a middle school band? So, the trip is not totally off. I tried to compromise with Dr. Smith and leave 2 days after everyone else. That way, I will be here for the major handbell practices and only miss one rehearsal that sunday and maybe the rehearsal during the week if that can ever be established. So. I have a really great oppertunity to go back to Ukraine Jan 14-22. I have to decide tonight if I want/can go or not.

Pros: -see all my friends and new family again (which I thought I wouldn't fot a long time)
- be present for the church dedication (as in the church I have worked with the past 3 summers and have seen grow)
