My hubby was hanging something on the wall in my son's room and hit a live wire (ack!). He's fine but we've lost power to the bedroom and half of the den (including the lights). Nothing like typing in the dark ( Read more... )

I have no clue. :( I mean; we paint it regularly, give it new carpet, clean the floors and even the toilet. If it's out for revenge, it must be against the previous tenants!

Yep. I shudder to think what might have happened if the hammer he was using wasn't rubber-ended. Metal nail, metal tool, live wire ... O.o
