Sadly, we haven't seen or heard from Bigmouth (the elderly abandoned cat which we had been caring for) since Friday evening. We've had a stray dog adopt us the past week. I didn't really want to encourage her to stay by feeding her, but I couldn't watch her starve either. She took a bunch of our shoes that were on the porch and we found a couple in the woods but I don't know where the rest went. So I had to run out and buy more sneakers for Jack. I haven't seen her today, so maybe she got her tummy filled and went home.
That would be amusing if Bigmouth came back "in the family way". Your son would like that. LOL

I don't know if that's the cause, though, only because of Bigmouth's age, but seeing as I know next to nothing about the sex life of cats, anything's possible!
