Grandma's dying. One of her heart arteries has swelled to the size of (I kid you not) a grapefruit. She feels fine, she just has a little cough caused by the grapefruit pressing on her bronchial tubes. I showed up devestated at her house on Saturday night. We got a house. No, not a tiny little apartment squished between noisy neighbors, but a real honest-to-god house. Next year, I shall have a yard, a porch, and my very own front door (without walking up three flights of stairs). So much going on in life right now! It seems that that always means I am both ooberly happy but also stressed out. I'm graduating in mere months, which is so crazy. That isn't real to me, not at all.
